Branch Spoons L+ (10g)

Based in Azumino, Nagano, Ibuki Kaiyama of Atelier Hi uses branches that are wither abandoned or from trees that require pruning to make living tools such as spoons and rice scoops.

The “Ibuki handcraft” series sheds light on this material that have been considered worthless by making the best use of each branch characteristic shape, polishing each object smoothly to be comfortable to use.

Each spoon is unique in tonality, form and purpose is defined by it’s user.
