After School Specials is back this August.

Our commitment to sharing knowledge spans the entire organization, as we believe that learning is a lifelong journey. We are curious to understand different cultures, explore why things are done in certain ways, and grow as individuals by seeing through diverse perspectives.

After a long hiatus, our workshop program, After School Specials, is back on the calendar. We have dedicated a space in-store to host a series of workshops led by passionate and talented practitioners. These sessions are designed to introduce participants to new skills and perhaps ones that may grow into deeper interest. Intermediate sessions will be introduced in due course.

After School Specials will be held in our showroom, featuring a 400 x 400 cm open-plan dining space that has hosted many gatherings. Around a large-format dining table that comfortably seats 10 guests, the workshops will offer an intimate setting for discovery and learning, accompanied by refreshments and light bites.

Our upcoming workshops will focus on the art of hosting with flowers. A cherished activity for gathering loved ones and close friends, and creating a welcoming home is more about comfort than precision. However, flower arrangement can often seem daunting and overly complex.

This series, hosted by Rachel of The Flower Library, will explore table settings through flower arrangements that unify a space. The workshop will focus on creating centerpieces for tables or other surfaces, guiding participants in crafting complementary arrangements using seasonal flowers.

Each session begins with a reception, followed by an introduction, hands-on practice, and a sharing segment. Participants will have ample time with the instructor, breaks to ask questions, and moments to enjoy light bites and refreshments provided by our partners throughout the program. At the end of each session, you will most certainly take home your beautiful floral creations.
