Nambu Tekki Incense Stand - Madoka

Nambu tekki is a form of ironware produced in Morioka, Iwate prefecture, Japan. It dates back to 17th century Edo period. Chushin Kobo was established in 1997 by Hisanori Masuda. As the company is not as old as other foundries, he is able to build on traditional practices and explore more contemporary designs.

The curved design of the Madoka Incense Stand allows it to catch ashes in the center and features a cylinder holder with 3 perforations, each to fit a different type of stick incense hole. This is able to accommodate most incense sticks available in the market.
