Obi Market Tote

Originally, "kimono" was the Japanese word for clothing. But in more recent years, the word has been used to refer specifically to traditional Japanese clothing. Kimonos as we know them today came into being during the Heian period (794-1192).

Kimonos are the national attire of the Japanese and there are an abundance of beautiful vintage kimonos that can be found all around Japan. We have selected a few Obi belts which we truly adore and have repurposed them into Market Totes with the least possible cuts to each 4m fabric.
